Though I won't deny it had some entertainment value, otherwise I'd have changed the channel. I never expected anything intellectual especially from Renny Harlin, but he just remade ALIEN RESURRECTION, monsters on the loose meets The Posiden Adventure, and the dialouge blows. LL COOL J could've written a better script. I was laughing at the movie not with it. If that was Harlin's point, he's an even more pathetic director than I thought.
SPOILERS AHEAD-
BTW, I thought we were supposed to root for LL Cool J? The sharks never seemed that sympathetic, they ate the dooable blonde girl who cried too much (a sure sign of she's gonna die) in a scene Renny copied from CLIFFHANGER (how lame is that). My version of the movie, everbody dies but her and LL, who defeat the sharks and then fuck like monkeys...where's all the sex in movies today?
