I never mind language in a film if it serves a purpose. However, the language in Amy was excessive...period. It does not contribute to the mentality or maturity of the characters at all. And if anything, it is a distraction from what the characters are actually trying to say.
The only characters for who the language was not innapropriate were Silent Bob and the Sugarholic. Just looking at those guys you expect such language and it fits.
