Chasing amy WAS like a trip to the dentists; Holden was just like those boring, out of date magazines scattered on the waiting room table barely keeping you out of the land of Z. Banky (Banky?????!!!!!! is that any kind of name; can't people in films have vaugely plausible names; i realise that for a hip Gen-X director, geoff or nigel is impossible, but does it have to sound so much like a euphemism or a dog's name!!?) was just like the other patients in said waiting room; you wonder what the hell they are doing there and why they look so bloody MORBID. The ensemble characters were amusing for about 10 seconds, just like the (typically) pretty dental nurse. Alyssa, finally is like nothing but the dentist's satanic drill hitting raw nerve. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Eminently missable!
