I don't believe that age, as much as experience, has much to do with the merits of a movie. I for one enjoyed Chasing Amy and I'm in my mid-thirties, married with three kids. I thought it was very original compared to most films and was struck by the insightful and often very funny diaglogue. I might add that it seemed realistic, except that most people don't come up with the funny lines that these characters did until they are too late to use.
