Actually, the primary reason I detested this movie was that it was boring. I think there were two well done scenes in the whole movie, and the rest of it should have remained on the cutting room floor.
The two good scenes were in the bar when he discovers her true orientation, and the fight outside the hockey rink. Those were well written, and well acted. The rest wasn't.
Mortal Kombat ? Give me a break !! I wouldn't waste money on a film like that.
BATMAN ? I saw the first one, and it was passable (a "C" grade). Saw parts of the second (horrible) Batman movie, and have better things to do than watch the even worse subsequent versions.
20-something ? I wish. That would be nice, but quite impossible without some serious time travel. Thanks for the compliment though !! I would guess that I was 20-something long before you were born.
BTW : I saw neither Clerks nor MallRats, and have no desire to see either one. I like my movies a bit more cerebral, and the way "Chasing Amy" was written up on the video tape box sounded a lot better than the actual movie.
Everyone's tastes are different.
