First of all I did explicitly state why I detested this movie. Please read my posts.
Secondly, I grew up in the late 60's and early 70's, and if you think you have problems, at least you don't stand a good chance of being drafted and sent off to Vietnam. I would suggest that each generation has their own problems to sort out, but don't assume that your generation is unique. Your problems are different, but not any less severe than ours were.
Thirdly, I was not aware that there are certain movies I am too old to enjoy. But if so, doesn't that also mean that there may be movies that you are too young to attend ?
