Alexio,

Please do not jump to unwarranted conclusions.

I am "over" that Vietnam thing, and was only using it as an example to illustrate how every generation has their own particular set of problems and issues to deal with. That happened to have been one of our big issues. Alternative lifestyles were also "invented" and brought into the mainstream of American life during my tenure as a teenager, so don't make too many assumptions about what you think I may not know about.

I will agree with you that Chasing Amy was original, and the topic was good (and topical) subject matter. But the screenwriters did a lousy job with the script, and the end result was a movie with great promise, but poor execution.

I've been "accused" of being a lot of things, but I don't believe that "out of touch with the times" has ever been stated before. Thanks for the laugh. I know you did not mean it to be a joke, but it was quite funny. Thanks again.
