Sorry for those who like their movies a bit more "cerebral" than Kevin Smith's films. I think that perhaps you are indeed not seeing quite a few layers that exist within them. Chasing Amy can be seen as a "flick" exploring the average male reaction to lesbainism... one can be so shallow as to look at a movie solely for it's political purposes. Yet there is a deeper level of entertainment that looks beyond the social messages of the film. I fairly enjoyed this picture, and I have enjoyed the entire series. There is a dry, yet childish wit contained in them that's absolutely delightful. Leave the cerebral movies to the directors in the Communist Regime.
