I've also recently encountered an amateur filmmaker (actually a film student at the university that i work at) who has already made 2 films...Guy came over to ask permission to film scenes from his next flick (some sort of vampire love story.. I think every film student does one of those) in the buildng which i work in.. We got to chatting, and apparently i impressed him with my vast knowledge of the cinema (haha)..Guy asked me if i'd be interested in somehow being involved in the production of his movie (to which i of course said YES)
He claims that John Woo is his idol (which, well, we'll have to work on that..at least he had the good sense to say that "Paycheck" wasn't that great), but.. gosh..I'm actually kind of excited about this..
I've been wanting to be involved in the production of a film for about a year, now.. It's pretty cool that this is just landing in my lap like this, ya know?
Keep your eyes on the marquee, boys and girls...Soon you may be discussing MY films here :P
