Well, I am not angry or pent-up, but I will say that Gere and Zellweger were a severe disappointment to me as well. Of all the actors and actresses they had to choose from they couldn't have found better dancers and singers? Give me a break. Catherine Z-J was very convincing in her part. Frankly I couldn't wait for Gere to shut up and be finished with his numbers. The movie did have some pretty interesting choreography and some of the scenes were fun to watch, but I walked away wishing they'd gone with better talent instead of big names who had to be taught (and obviously learned just for that role).
