but Pat Robertson's 700 Club and various other religious TV shows are equally (and in many ways more so) politically biased. The reason for these biases has to do with the particular portion of society these shows/networks target: MTV targets the youth (who tend to be relatively liberal or libertarian) and covers the popular music community (who tend to be liberal). The religious shows target the portion of Middle America who let their religion bleed into their politics and follow certain right-wing ministers.
One point in MTV's favor - I'm guessing that they're not going to start selling "Impeach Bush" videos which detail ridiculous politically-motivated attacks on him...
