Perhaps the real, live person or persons behind Mr. Cranky <i>do</i> love Citizen Kane, or A Clockwork Orange, or The Godfather. But Mr. Cranky is a CHARACTER. As such, the person or persons behind Mr. Cranky owe it to their readers to <i>keep him in character</i>. Would it seem right if Mr. Cranky trashed every movie on earth <i>except</i> your favorite?
Readers don't (or shouldn't) come to this site to hear yet another reviewer crap their pants over what a great movie Citizen Kane is. If you desire stinky drawers, there are scads of other sites that will give 'em to you.
