eh... talking from a musicians persepctive i think atleast an acknowledgement of the skills of artists in a genre of music is a healthy thing. I personally don't like country music too much... and can't really stand listening to it. But is don't slam country artists and say that there music isn't music or even worse noise. I think half the people that aer slamming rap can't name more than 20 rap songs or artists. I bet half the people that are slamming rap haven't sat down and tried to make a beat and then put lyrics to it that sound good. Believe me a rap song may have just 4 to 5 instruments but there are many variations throughout most rap songs and it's very difficult to make them go together. And how can u say rap isn't music... does anyone know what the definition of music is? i could be tapping my fingers on my desk right now rhythymically and be making music. Webster dictionary say... 1 a : the science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, in combination, and in temporal relationships to produce a composition having unity and continuity b : vocal, instrumental, or mechanical sounds having rhythm, melody, or harmony
anyways... not trying to smash u all to bad
all i want all u haters to do is try and make a rap with a good beat and decent lyrics...send it to me and if u can prove that it's easy then rap is some sauce...
