Hello everyone!
Wow, i'm amazed at the level of racism on this board, forum or whatever it is...and the level of ignorance. First of all, I do not dispute that rap is music, it is, by definition....but I mean seriously, compare it to the likes of Mozart or The Beatles, and soon you will discover it is not very musical at all.
I find it amusing that you can tell what side someone is arguing on this topic, from not even reading what they say. Just look at it and spot gramatically incorrect words and such pointless taunts such as: 'if you dont like rap go fuck yourself' and 'fuck you niggah you aint black and you dont no shit bout "us" balck people so you need to shut your lil' kkk ass up before you get shut up' and you'll know that their arguing FOR rap.
I don't just hate rap, I hate nearly all music today with few exceptions. If someone tried to take some of today's songs back to the 60's where there was REAL music....they would be laughed at.
Anyway, what's the topic...umm...oh yeah. Rap. Rap, rap, rap. I do not understand how someone can pay money to see some halfwit 'sing' illiterate poems about women and killing, while a computer onstage is beeping and whirring rhythmically...
And to the idiot who said 'dude there is no way you can say black people invented rock'...what about Chuck Berry? For many, rock and roll was started by him. 'the only black person that took part in the begining of rock was jimi henrix'....shows how ignorant some people are.
I also believe that rap contributes to America's high murder rate...thank god I live in Australia.
Anyway, i'll leave my biased views there.....hopefully some of you will think of some views to support your arguments... :) instead of just saying fuck this, fuck that.
