Sorry I haven't been around... been busy and stuff.
Wanted to share my good news... although I already shared it with those who I thought would care the most... but I got my master wildlife rehabilitator's permit! Whoo hoo! Not an apprentice anymore, but a full-fledged rehabilitator. I got notice by email a few days ago, but I got the nice little paper version by mail yesterday, so it is now framed on my wall. Okay, you might think it's silly, but it's like all important to me and all.
Things with the man are going very well, despite a disatrous lunch with the dad. We have decided that when the school term ends, he and the kids are going to move in with me (my mortgage is a lot less and I have a yard...even tho my place is smaller) and live together (yes, in sin!!!!) for a bit before getting married... tho I'm not sure for how long. The kids are cool with this except for the daughter who grumbled a little bit at having to switch high schools. :-(
My office is being completely reorganized and I have no idea where I'm going to end up. We should find out soon where they are placing us. Should be interesting. There are several possibilities. In the meantime, they have put me back on the big project to help out since all my other projects had been taken away when I "quit" and I haven't had much to do except a little web maintenance. Which was great over the holidays and right after, when I got sick. But, then I started to feel like a moocher. :-)
I'll have to read up on the threads to see what everyone's up to. How is everyone else doing? I've noticed lack of emails from certain people who used to email me regularly. Sigh... I didn't mean to become anti-social. I owe you, Mal, an email, I know!!!! I will answer you, tho, some has been answered here. :-)
