Greetings all...
Do not accept that person's offer. Do your own urine test with a reputable lab and with legal protection in place. It may be more expensive, but it will be worth it as there will be nothing for that associate to exploit.
Alternately, you may protest the test is an invasion of your privacy and that you have been clean for a long while or whole life (depending on your background).
If that associate is in charge of testing, do what you can to ensure your associate cannot exploit you or betray you or anything that makes you distrust such a person in the first place. Also, get everything in writing with notarized copies and witnesses and lawyers or paralegals (paralegals may be the way to go as they have more time and are less expensive than lawyers).
For me, I will simply refuse any and all drug tests because these tests invade my privacy. No, I am not that needy or desperate for employment; these tests are simply not worth it for me.
