If I erred in my GWB comment, sorry. I thought you were on the RHS of the eternally dull convenor debates.

However, as for Canadians' opinion not mattering in the world - Roy Jones Junior enjoying his silver? How about the US basketball team from '72 (I think)? We're usually so polite that when we DO whine, it means something.

And as for MEN'S hockey - at least when (if?) we lose, we don't trash hotels. I'd say it was classless, but, for Merks, it really wasn't.

And Gretzky's diatribe doesn't speak for me, by the way. I'd have speared Fleury too, just on general principles, and to see if I could get a free drink out of him.
