Hughes blew the rest of them off the ice. The Ruskies can bitch all they want about a "witch-hunt" against their team; they just weren't good enough on the night. Neither was Kwan.
As for the judging, everybody goes into the competition KNOWING that there are judges that make SUBJECTIVE evaluations of the performances. It's inherent to the sport. If they don't like it, they shouldn't have competed in the first place.
