Bette Davis hated musicals, and was quoted as saying they they were "Full of fags."
This is sour grapes, of course. Her attempt at musical stardom bombed completely. If you really want to bust a gut laughing, check out her rendition of "Turn Me loose on Broadway!" It's cut one on the hilarious CD "Hollywood Hi-Fi."
This CD also contains such great works as the calypso song "What's this Generation Comin' to?" sung by that authentic West Indian calypso master, Robert Mitchum! Akso included for your listening pleasure: Joe Pesci singing "Got to Get You Into My Life," Jerry "the Beaver" Mathers doing "Wind-up Toy!" when he was 13, and 14 other abominations! It is truly hideous what happens when actors think they can sing (the above,) singers think they can act (Bob Dylan,) and people who can't do either try to do both (Leif Garrett, among others.)
