NEWSIES!!! Although it bombed in the box office, it's because Disney was stupid enough to think that little kids would like it. After it came out on video, it spread like wildfire, and now everyone remembers the flick, remenicing fondly of younger, happier days when they would watch it every night. Hundreds of thousands of us still watch it every night, smiling in ecstasy at our beloved newsboys. The movie includes tons of talented boys who are actors, dancers, and singers, as well as have mastered the New York accent, and obviously went for awhile without washing their hair for the full effect! The songs are upbeat and fun, the story unbelieveably cheerful considering the plot line. The characters are fun and always make you smile. And, although Disney doesn't believe us, there's a lot of us who love this movie tons. In my so humble opinion, Newsies is one of the best movies ever made.
