I'm actually in the middle of performing Dancing at Lughnasa.....fair enough, the film sucked, it showed none of the magic which is witheld in the play. The dance is significant, an escape from reality....some people do drugs, (maybe that would have made a better film, five sisters who do opium) but they chose dancing!
Oooh, and it is pronounced Loo-nuh-sah
just look at the phonology in a dictionary!
