Here we have a movie that states clearly early in the film, "Guns are for the weak" and goes ahead and uses them at the end like we may of forgotten that piece of dialogue. That fact alone insulted my intelligence , but the overall movie is not a total bust. Ice Cube is for the most part likable in his role, and Ving Rhames looks like he's enjoying himself. Hurley's character on the otherhand, is just plain annoying and unessasary. The movie is good when it's working as a detective story, but is just plain embarassing when it tries to otherwise. Overall nothing special.
