10/31/07: Die Hard 4 was just really empty, for me..

...i mean, i remember being entertained while i watched it, but i barely remember anything about it afterwards. Course it was directed by the guy who did the Underworld movies.

I forget where i was reading this, but some reviewer somewhere pointed out how in the original Die Hard John McClane was a regular schmoe who got the tar beat out of him but never did anything particularly superheroic..

Then in this Die Hard he's driving cars into helicopters and jumping around on the back of F-22 Raptors..

It's just not the same thing...

And i've never understood why everyone hates Die Hard 2. IMO it's the best of the sequels.

Ratatouille was cute. Not as good as "The Incredibles" or "Cars", but still worthwhile.
