11/01/07: Ever had a throttle cable freeze?

I use to ride all year long. One morning my throttle was frozen so I freed it with hot water. I took off down the road and it froze up again so I turned it off. I had thought I freed it up enough to take it back home to work on it but when I started it up again it instantly redlined and leaped in to the air! Sometimes a little graphite keeps it from doing that. I also had this sort of dipstick thingy I'd plug in to keep the oil warm.
