I rented and watched Al Gore's movie yesterday. Seems fairly persuasive but I'd like to see someone seriously challenge him on film or book. Like Larry Elder's doc "Michael and Me" takes on "Bowling for Columbine". Know anyone?
The only thing that bugs me about having warmer winters is that I usually count on a nice, cold winter to kill off at least 20% of the homeless. Thin out the herd and whatnot.

When I keep walking they always lay on the guilt trip with their, "God bless you." Fuck them. They can rot. They have even started to get smart. I had one girl ask me as I passed her on the sidewalk, "Do you need any money? I goy ~plenty~ 'a money!"
"I bet you do you fuckin' n*gger."
A couple years ago I got in a fist fight outside a 7-ll with one guy.
One solution is to wear headphones and sunglasses--even at night. I recommend the Bose TP-1A's I got for Christmas. Over-the-ear design blocks out plaintive bum voices and traffic. Nice bass response. Perfect tone right out of the box. Needs no EQ. Highly recommended. I think the noise-canceling types are overrated unless you're on a plane or something.
