You're right - I did know about that newsletter stuff.
From a political viewpoint, I judge Ron Paul on his voting record. He voted against the Iraq War and the Patriot Act. And he always voted against Congressional pay raises. He votes against tax increases. And he votes against the "war on drugs."
I don't agree with him on some things. He's pro-life, and I'm pro-choice - although he does oppose federal laws on abortion, so we do agree on that aspect of it. He wants to abolish the Environmental Protection Agency - I want to keep it. He's somewhat opposed to immigration - I favor immigration.
He's just closer to my political beliefs than any other candidate.
