I would just like to point out that the deterrent effect is in reference to whether or not it prevents other people from committing violent acts, not whether or not it prevents the same people from committing violent acts. So I'd like to give Mr. Deterrent Effect the giant DUH award and let everyone know that after all the studies done so far we have proven that we can't prove that the death penalty has a deterrent effect, so the deterrent effect is not 100% it is ?%. Thank you.
