It doesn't matter what effect death penalty has on the general public. I believe eye for an eye, torture for a torture. Nobody has the right in this world to pardon or forgive any criminals except the victim(s) themselves. I strong believe, and please use common sense that all laymen use, the victims will not forgive the murder. Please don't use any philosphical and manipulative verbal argument to suppress the "inhuman" treatment of murderers. It is good to be nice and forgiving and all that, but we should always remember the pain and and suffering of the victim(s) before the so-called, "suffering", of a murder convict undergoing lethal injection. I don't think anybody is going to hold a candle and against capital punishment if your son or daughter is raped and murdered. Those who is against capital punishment, I have a final words for you. EVEN IF YOU DO WIN IN AN ARGUMENT ABOUT THE "WRONG" OF CAPITAL PUNISHMENT, VERY VERY FEW PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD WOULD UNDERSTAND YOU COMPLICATED, LANGUAGE MANIPULATIVE PHILOSOPHY, BECAUSE THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD ONLY MODERATE SOPHISCATED. THOSE WHO TAKE AWAY COMMON SENSE JUSTICE FROM A LAYMEN ARE CRIMINAL THEMSELVES. ASK YOUSELF THIS QUESTION, "YOU ARE WILLING TO SEE THE INJUSTICE( THE VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILY THINK SO) SUFFERING OF THESE PEOPLE THEN THE "SUFFERING" OF A MURDER CONVICT. IF THE MURDER AND/OR RAPIST REALLY FEEL SORRY FOR WHAT HE OR SHE DID, THEN I TRULY BELIEVE THEY WOULD WANT TO DIE TO REDEEM HIS CRIMINAL ACT. THOSE BEG FOR LIVE AND FEEL SORRY ARE NOTHING MORE THAN WANTING TO LIVE. THEY SAY THEY ARE SORRY BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO DIE.
