consider this in canada there is a 2.2 per 100,000 murder rate

i don't know but i can tell you this, we just passed a gun control law that would probably have caused many of the gun nuts in america to blow up not just government buildings but whole cities. it restricts people buying guns to adequetly store their guns or face prosecution, it requires a sixty day waiting period for a complete background check on the persons mental state, and further it allows for people concerned about anyone getting a gun to report on the persons mental or character.
this law is probably next to the uk and the australian governments in its far reaching implications.
