Yeah, Darren, and the fact that we abolished capital-punishment in 1976 gives us creeps like Paul Bernardo and Clifford Olson who as far as I'm concerned are wasting valuable oxygen on this planet. Why should we waste Canadian taxpayer's money on keeping non-humans like that alive. Makes me, as a Canadian taxpayer, livid at our waste of money. The U.S. criminal justice system has it right. I don't really see the logic in letting the criminal have all the rights to life. It's pillow-slippered people who don't have the guts to stand up for the rights of the victim (who is dead...in this case) that make the criminals cheer that they're not going to get their necks wrung. I think that we should get the "chair" or the "gas-chamber" for those creeps like Olson.
