Yes, this movie is definately not for everyone, but it is now among my faves of all time (along with Wicker Man, Blue Velvet, Eraserhead, Reflecting Skin, ect..). It is like an acid trip to the old west. Mesmerizingly strange, beautiful, hypnotic, funny, and mystical. Some people hate this movie, some felt the opening train sequence unbearable, I found it truly awesome! Neil Young's distorted soundtrack is perfect. Gary Farmer is brilliant...Alfred Molina, is (as always) outstanding! The cinematography is breathtaking...(how can some people find black and white movies photography not exciting?) I did not want this movie to end! One thing is for certain...THIS MOVIE WILL BE A CULT CLASSIC!
