09/20/07: I don't quite get it, are they upset that the charges are too high?

The noose thing is obviously racist, but that's hard to prove. You can prove it's a noose, that's about it. You can prove that people would take it as racist, and that the boys should have known that. He could have found some sort of charge to put them on. A good lawyer would be able to get them off. You could make public examples of them.

Aside from that, are people angry that attempted murder is too high a charge? If so, give them aggravated assault. With attempted murder you have to prove that they were trying to kill him, or came very close, but he attended a school function that night.
