09/21/07: This doesn't affect me much, since

I'm older than the parents of the women I date. Typically, those parents look up to me as a bastion of support for their daughter's way in the world, and are quite pleased that she has found such a wise and thoughtful individual to help her in her life decisions.

On the other hand, I find it distressing that I'm continually having to rebuild the burned-out shell of my home, and replace my molotov-coctailed vehicles.
