This article describes how someone stole the playbooks of some team and put them on the internet, etc. What I want to know is: why would someone bother to do this? Couldn't someone tape all the team's games and figure out their plays that way? Or do the plays change? I mean, once a team uses them on the field, the plays aren't exactly secret anymore, are they?
I'm clueless about most sports, but this seemed strange to me. Am I wrong?
