Kent is as big an "asshole" as Bonds. Or maybe bigger.
Consider the following: Kent refuses to speak to 90% of his teammates. He was traded from the Mets because of his reputation as a "clubhouse cancer." He won an MVP in large part because the thread of Bonds forced pitchers to throw him fastballs, and he has the balls to turn up in a national publication saying he "wouldn't spit on Bonds if he were on fire"? Shit, he ought to be dedicating the goddamn award to Bonds.
Oh, and fuck Rick Reilly, too. What he FAILED to disclose in that article was that he has had a PERSONAL dispute with both Barry and Bobby Bonds -- he's now letting it color his work. Nice ethics, Rick. Keep venting your personal disputes in national magazine and you'll be Peter Gammons soon.
