... thanks for taking the time to post it!!

(Now i do my Levar Burton "Reading Rainbow" Impersonation) Since you're interested in the colonization of Mars, have you read any of the Mars-chronicles ("Red Mars", "Green Mars" and "Blue Mars" by Kim Stanley Robinson)?

This series as won a lot of acclaim for it's realism and supposedly sound scientific basis.. It's referred to as an epic tale about the colonization of Mars from the beginning to the end of the cycle..

I haven't read it personally, but hear nothing but good things about it.. and it's raked in a slew of Sci-fi awards, So i figured i'd let you know it's out there ( in case you didn't know already)..

And hey, if you're feeling up to it, i'll read a post clearing up the carbonates detail.. I love Astronomy to, though the area i live in doesn't offer much in the way of Astronomical education.. (when i was younger, Astronomy was something i really enjoyed enjoyed and had hoped to pursue throughout my career.. maybe someday i'll be able to pick it up again)

Also, referring to your game that you were designing..

THAT sounds neat, how much of it did you complete??

And hey, i'm not sure Screenplays get much better then WING COMMANDER, but if you ever want anyone to read any of your screenplays (i dunno if there are some that you were really proud of but don't plan on submitting)

I'd love to read em..

Thanks again!!

On the topic of the Moon:
if the population of Earth grew to be too much for our old green Terra to handle..

Would we colonize Mars or the Moon first?

p.s. Do you read any Philip K. Dick?
