All that "analysis" was wasted energy because I wasn't referring to THIS conversation. I was talking about in a former life. Last year I was so impressed with your lyrical prowess I called you my new God. Not that you even acknowledged my reverence. No way. You must have assumed it was your due.
But, that was okay because I already held you in the highest esteem. You had taken the time a few months before to write a wonderfully encouraging post to me when I commented on some bastards IRL belittling the hardest earned success of my life. I never, ever forgot your kind words, and thought of them every time I saw a post from you.
Your attitude has changed so much towards me since then that now I realize your supportive "nice guy" behavior is all for PR purposes, and deep down you're really vile. Not unlike a lot of the phonies around here.
Just call me disillusioned. At least now I know the difference between a God and the Devil. Don't give me that "give respect to get respect" crap either preacher man. I've given all kinds of respect and gotten kicked in the teeth for my consideration.
