Wouldn't it be neat if you could just telephone a friend long distance to ask for their help, and give them a vague instruction like "meet me in Ciudad Acuna," and then hang up the phone without even saying "bye", and then count on these friends to know exactly what your situation is, and who you're up against, and exactly what street corner to show up on, without directions or a map, and without meeting with them first to explain to these friends from outta town just what the fuck's going on, and oh, remember to bring your guitar-case bazookas, you might need them. One other thing that made me puke: I may be mistaken about this, but I think one of those bazooka-guitar friends of the mariachi, is played by the same actor who played the original Mariachi. "Sorry, we liked you in the low budget original, but now we're doing a REAL hollywood sellout movie, so we'd rather pay a big-namer like Antonio, here..., not some low-life wetback like you....Alright, alright, ya big crybaby, I'll try to find some way to fit you into the script in the end somewhere, and I'll pay you fifty pesos nuevos for it, okay?
