NRA Sam, you have some serious problems.
I am not attempting to curry anyone's favor, including yours. And YOU are the one attacking Richard and Roy. As far as I've seen, they have never been unkind or disrespectful towards you.
You say I am a sheep. You say I am an ostrcih. But what do you know about me? I have not gone into any detail about my views on the topics you have brought up. You say what is happening in this country saddens you. It saddens me as well. But I do not consider a waiting period to buy a death machine an infringement of my freedom. Remember that line from that most grand of documents. . .something like "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. . .". Guns rob American citizens of their lives. My right to live is more important than your right to shoot things. If you can't see that, then there is no point in discussing the matter further.
You are entitled to rant. But if you choose to rant about politics (especially in a movie forum) you also choose to open yourself up to criticism. You can't help feeling the way you do. I can't help but feel you are a fruitcake.
I don't understand you. You come to this forum, contribute nothing but your own political blather, and seem surprised that people do not automatically respect you. Well, you've done nothing to prove to me that you deserve my respect. So far you have proven yourself to be gun nut and nothing more. I have responded to your posts before, but you have never before bothered to speak to me. If you ever took the time to read any of MY posts, you would know I am not a fighter. I don't usually care to get involved in the political wranglings between Richard and Grundle. You, on the other hand, are a different story. You are a blowhard. You make your original post, going off on how evil two other Crankylanders are. Then when I call you the same thing, you are surprised and dismayed. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
I am not interested in a political debate with you. It is painfully obvious that we would never agree in a million years anyway. What I object to is a relative newbie coming in here trying to stir up trouble. Find a political site if that is the only thing you know how to discuss.
Oh, and I never said I was cool. Or male. I can't say I'm surprised to find you are sexist too, the rest of your views seem to be fairly reactionary. Instead of posting here, why don't you go to an NRA site and rant? Perhaps you'll find the people there more to your liking.
