Read the subject, you guys (with few exceptions) are saying that the best musicians ever are of classical music. Are you saying that you would read a review about (and therefore show interest in) Detroit Rock City, but hate everything it's about as much as Mr. Cranky hates (or seems to hate) movies? As a fan of music by bands such as KISS, and someone who does acknowledge that music didn't stop being made in 1985, I've made a list that is actually of BANDS, not dumbasses with pianos.
1) Black Sabbath (original members)
2) Aerosmith (although they've been on a talent diet lately)
3) AC/DC
4) KISS
5) Nirvana
6) Pearl Jam
7) Iron Maiden
8) Nine Inch Nails
9) Alice Cooper
10) Metallica
I would've included KoRN in that list, but I'm still afraid that they'll pull a Limp Bizkit on me and switch to rap. I'm not saying that bands like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones (well, maybe the stones) aren't talented musicians, just that it hurts my ears listening to that crap.
