The order of the list was almost incidental; if you keep the Beatles at #1, you could rearrange the list somewhat and still maintain accuracy. Rankings are always really biased no matter who does them or how they're done; I'm just willing to openly admit that my list is biased.
Groucho - Buddy Holly simply slipped my mind at the time. I'm not particularly into 50s' stuff past a certain point (else I probably would have included Elvis). Good call, though.
Jackal - When I think of Little Richard, I think of a flamboyant piano player; when I think of Chuck Berry, a flamboyant guitar player comes to mind. Nothing against piano, but rock guitar comes to mind when i think of rock n' roll.
As for what you said about Zeppelin, you're right; everybody in the early days of rock "borrowed" from the blues. If I knew more on the topic I would post a list of blues singers; unfortunately that is another area of music I have limited knowledge of.
