I disagree with both you bastards.
Once were warriors was bloody good - Jake the Muss should've got an oscar, i've yet to see a more convincing psycho, hardest guy in cinema by a mile. Can't think of any more kiwi films but if OWW and LOTR is their output at least only 50% of thier films are shit, which is pretty good when you compare it to the 99% of american films.
In fact maybe it was the american contribution to LOTR that made it shit? Perhaps if it was totally kiwi, like Once Were Warriors, it would have been better.
To me this makes far more sense than the kiwi example as most yank films are dogshit as Mr Cranky demonstrates.
P.S trainspotting(Brit) was good
