Hmmm.... A conspiracy, aye. It all makes sense now. Certainly the english speaking Woo knew that Van Damme was an apalling mockery to the fine art of film acting. He had no choice. HOLLYWOOD MUST PAY!!!
Nonetheless, Wolfie, Chris is correct in his rebuttal. The Killer is one of the greatest action movies ever made. However, I often debate whether or not it's better than Woo's other masterpeice A Bullet in the Head: which is kind of like a chinese homage to The Deer Hunter and Apocalypse Now. Hard Boiled is, bullet for bullet, the most exciting action fest I've ever seen, but it's plot is a hodge podge of action movie cliches. Likewise the dubbed dialogue is laughably bad. "You know, you're really just full of shit." Yun Fat points "And there's the john."
As if Space Jam wasn't bad enough... now we have to put up with Rodman too!!!
