08/11/05: Well, beides risk assessment

I think it might also be a case of ignorant sript writers and producers. In recent years, I have seen a number of news articles and features surface on the problems of ageism in Hollywood and that older writers and other behind the scenes people are being discriminated against. If all you got are a bunch of younger writers whose knowledge base stretches back to - well - the Dukes of Hazzard, then that's what they are going to churn out.

There have always been remakes, but Hollywood has just gone NUTS with it lately. And risk assessment means little to me. I have not paid to see a remake at all this year. Am sick to death of them.
