But I know this...when you dwell on a relationship that's over, you're probably not in love with the girl, but with the ideal of the relationship when it was good, and how THAT made you feel. You said yourself that the girl wasn't the same girl anymore. What you think you'll love forever isn't her, but how you felt about yourself when you were with her.
You can get that somewhere else, so don't carry a torch.
