12/21/00: Is anyone else bothered by the Discover card ad?

The one where they wheel the guy into the ER and wait until his card gets approved before they defibrillate him. I think it sucks on several different levels:

1. That they would actually wait to see if the card is approved before they defib him.

2. It trivializes cardiac episodes by making it seem like its a dandy way to earn 2% back.

3. The guy fucking looks like Tom Greene IMHO.
