Here in Oklahoma, we cook up stuff. I just used to just fry, boil, bake, roast, and grill when I was in California. But here we cook up dinner.
Also, while we are on the subject of "up," pets and people here in Oklahoma occasionally "up and die." So for God's sake, if you are with a soul who should happen to up, please seek immediate medical attention.
