Cox will lose her beauty due to age and Arquette will lose his B-level acting abilities as he gets older too. They both will age well in the acting business which is GOOD. However, because Cox is a little older than Arquette and that Arquette is more'' fun/adventuresome than Cox.. there might be a little of a "gap" but that can be OKAY if Arq/Cox both realize their limits-- limit as in.. not doing really stupid stuff. They're good for each other...
