They have this insect called a tarantula hawk. It looks like a big blue wasp but it lays its eggs inside of tarantulas. An when the larva mature they bustout and eat the spider(I think, I'm not really sure about the eating part.) If you're camping out there and a insect bite turns into like a giant zit, you'd best head to the hospital.
A Marine out there told be they like to go for the eyes.
