10/20/05: Wheels within wheels, my friend

Hurricane activity is cyclical, we're just coming out of a 20 year (or so) slow period. It's not necessarily evidence of anything (although it does fit with predictions and other examples of more extreme weather activity with global warming).

Weather is a particularily tricky thing to model, because there are so many cycles of varying lengths and poorly understood (at present) causes.
